About Heinen Designs

Hello, I’m Haley. I use hand-lettering and digital design to inspire and encourage others! I specialize in hand-lettered fonts and word graphic designs, working primarily through digital mediums to create original art, home décor, apparel and more.

Heinen Designs began in 2017 during a difficult time in my life. My heart was aching, and I found healing in art. I decided to try my hand at custom mugs and quickly realized I had a passion for hand-lettering. I soon branched out, applying my skills to any piece of home décor I could get my hands on.

What started as merely therapeutic turned into a true joy and passion. I began studying other hand-lettering artists and taught myself the basics. From there, I was encouraged to put a few things in an Etsy shop, and the rest is history. Years later, I’m still creating and now teaching others just how FUN art can be!

Through the support of friends, family and an unwavering group of fellow artists on Instagram, Heinen Designs has become what it is today. I love to create! Whether I have a whole afternoon to myself or just a few minutes at the end of a long day, lettering is something I come back to for peace, calm and the thrill of creating something new.
